We now have visited this hotel 13 times in the past 6 years. That should tell you everything. From the very first time it has been a true gem, a paradise to stay. Having visited many hotels over the world , nowhere did we find this atmosphere, this service. Family-run for years you feel the love and dedication of all people involved to make your stay optimal to your personal preferences. Surrounded by the woods the hotel itself is located in a beautiful park with meticulously kept flowerbeds , and is a very well thought of combination of new and older architecture. Several terasses, an intimate wellness area, exclusive rooms with a view at the park, and a great breakfast and diner. But most of all it is the great service , the warm welcome that is expressed by the couple that owns the hotel and by the staff. It all may sound as to good to be true and for us it is, but apparently not only for us as we met several guests who also visit Jagdhaus Wiese several times a year with their children, their parents , friends or just alone .

Although everything is to a high standard, staff is very approachable and down to earth. They make sure everyone is looked after, including children. The quiet room is comfortable and there are libraries, games rooms and a private park. Attractive hiking and a hill for tobogganing right outside the hotel. Food is high quality, healthy cuisine (not suitable for vegans, but likely doable upon request). It's very clean and includes many services that make this such a relaxed place.

Hotel Jagdhaus Wiese ligt hoog op een heuvel; rondom het hotel kun je mooie wandelingen maken, alles prima aangegeven. Het hotel heeft een heel fijn zwembad, jacuzzi, 2 sauna's en een stoomcabine. Een rustruimte met heerlijke ligbedden en gratis thee en koffie. Alles super schoon en verzorgd. Recentelijk is het hotel smaakvol gemoderniseerd. Het eten is er heel goed en de medewerkers heel vriendelijk. Ze doen alles om het je naar de zin te maken. De sfeer is prettig vooral ook omdat het niet opgeklopt is; topkwaliteit is hier gewoon.

Ein 4+ Sterne Haus, das zwar gepflegt ist, die Art und Qualität der Verpflegung aber nicht an die Sterne heranreicht. Zum Frühstück muss man am Tisch einen Fragebogen ausfüllen und notieren, wie viele Scheiben Schinken, Lachs, Käse oder was auch immer man essen möchte. Dann bringen sie das raus und man kann es verzehren. Es erinnerte mich an meinen Krankenhaus-Aufenthalt. Die Möglichkeit, die Köstlichkeiten am Buffet sehen zu können, macht Appetit und lädt einen ein, selbst auszuwählen, welche Häppchen man essen möchte. Das Ausfüllen eines Formulars ist hierfür völlig ungeeignet und kein Indiz von Gastfreundschaft. Man isst schließlich auch mit den Augen! Das Abendmenü ist wählbar, das in Häusern dieser Kategorie bekannte Salatbuffet gibt es jedoch nicht! Mein Hauptgericht (Fisch) war so salzig, dass ich ihn kaum essen konnte – aber man nahm die Beschwerde einfach zur Kenntnis und versuchte nicht, eine Wiedergutmachung zu leisten (wie es in anderen Hotels/Restaurants völlig selbstverständlich ist). Die Preise sind allerdings wirklich der Hammer. Der Aufenthalt und die merkwürdige „Gastfreundschaft“ werden recht teuer bezahlt.

Die Hotelgäste werden jetzt mit einer neuen, geräumigen Einfahrt mit direktem Zugang zu der neuen Rezeption begrüßt. Die gelungene Kombination aus dem früheren Stil und Mobiliar mit der neuen Rezeption, vermittelt sofort eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Derselbe gute Geschmack, der bei der Renovierung der Hotelzimmer angewandt wurde, zeigt sich auch bei dem neuen Empfang. Ansonsten gab es kaum größere Veränderungen!! Die gewohnte hohe Qualität des Hotels blieb unverändert. Wir besuchen das Hotel mindestens 4 Mal im Jahr. Jedes Mal ist es ein Vergnügen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Jagdhaus Wiese und waren sehr begeistert vom Hotel und der ruhigen Gegend. Die gelungene Kombination von gediegenem Jagdhausstil mit moderner Einrichtung schaffen ein Ambiente zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders das Schwimmbad hatte es unseren Jungs (9 und 6) angetan. Der Wellnessbereich ließ keine Wünsche offen. Sehr gut hat uns das Konzept zum Thema Frühstück gefallen. Frische Wurst und Käse sowie verschiedene Eierspeisen werden nach Bestellung direkt an den Tisch gebracht, während man sich Müsli (portioniert in Weckgläsern), Brötchen, Obst etc. vom Buffet selbst holt. Eine tolle Lösung für Hygiene und Vermeidung von Lebensmittelabfällen. Ebenso das ganztägig inklusive Angebot von Wasser (abgefüllt in Glasflaschen), Kaffee und Obst passt gut dazu. Es gibt noch viele anderen positive Kleinigkeiten, die dazu geführt haben, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Besonders zu erwähnen wäre da noch das immer freundliche und gut gelaunte Personal und das sehr gute, abwechslungsreiche Essen, bei dem selbst die Kinder voll auf ihre Kosten gekommen sind.
